Rules

Member Guidelines

1. Respect: All members are expected to be kind and courteous to one another. We expect members to stay out of argument or troll-baiting. If another member is being rude to you please tell an Officer or bor3d immediately and let us handle it.
2. Profanity: You are now allowed to use curse words on the forum, however we expect you to not use derogatory language towards other members, people, groups or organizations.
3. Privacy: Please exercise extreme caution when giving out your personal information to other people. Remember, bG will never ask you for your personal information, billing information or Steam ID.
4. Piracy: We are not responsible for the actions of our users and we greatly discourage the discussion or sharing of pirated materials. We will not tolerate those who steal others hard-work copyrighted material. Members will be banned for piracy or theft.
5. Nudity: Members should try to keep their images, avatars and signatures as clean as possible. We highly discourage posting any offensive material.
6. Multiple Accounts: Members are only allowed one account. You are not allowed to register an account for anyone or use multiple accounts in any way, shape or form.
7. External Links: You are not allowed to link to other web sites, especially those sites that may be considered competitors. Links are acceptable in relevant conversations to sites like CNN, but anything else will be considered spam.

Warning System

Bor3d Gaming now has a warning system in-place for its community forums and it is designed to properly keep track of your infractions. Below is a list of possible infractions that may be applied to your warning and what that means:

• Inappropriate Language: Using excessive profanity towards another member in a malicious way.
• Inappropriate Content: Use of vulgar imagery, sounds or links that would be offensive to any member.
• Inappropriate Spam: Linking to sites in an inappropriate fashion or the wrong location. Advertising other servers or communities on our forum.
• Inappropriate Behavior: Being an overall troll or trouble-maker.

Each warning is worth 1 point and you will be punished based off a threshold for those points:

• 3 Points: Banned for one (1) week.
• 4 Points or more: Banned for one (1) month.
• Permanent Ban (3rd Strike)

Forum Guidelines

1. No Trolling: Trolling would be posting one-word or image responses to threads or bringing the thread in general off-topic.
2. No Spamming: Do post multiple times or bump threads unnecessarily. Also posting links in the incorrect location or post competing communities is considered spam as well.
3. No Racism: Being a bigot or intolerable to other cultures, ethnicities, groups or sex will be considered a racist offense.
4. Useless Threads: Please keep all useless posts in the off-topic forum. Do not use this as a location to break any of the rules we have discussed.
5. Copyrighted Material: Make sure any post you make does not involve sharing copyrighted material that does not belong to you.

Signature Guidelines

• You are allowed no more than four (4) lines for your signature.
• You are allowed no more than one (1) image for your signature.
• You are not allowed to post any offensive or gross material in your signature.
• You are not allowed to use links that will gain you a kick-back. Example: Affiliate Links
